"It’s fine, it was a good price on clearance. The quality of the beanie seems good, but it I don’t understand why anyone would line a merino wool beanie with polyester. A big reason for the appeal of Merino vs other types of wool is that Merino is soft enough to be worn next to the skin. I understand why things like winter coats, snow pants and swimwear are made of polyester, but slapping a 100% polyester lining on a Merino beanie is completely unnecessary and cheapens an otherwise great product."

Beanie
"Its thick and warm. I love that it stays on my 3 year olds head. Some hats slide up because of her hair but this one stays down and over her ears."

Not 100% merino wool
"I completely missed that this is lined with 100% polyester. I read that the hat is 100% merino wool and never thought to see if there was a different fabric type as a lining. I don't put synthetic fabric on their skin so I am just going to have to try to sell this second hand I guess. It was my mistake but I wish it would have been more clearly stated in the title or something."
