All Oaki waders are fully waterproof and feature rubber boots permanently attached to the wader pants. The key difference is in the material: breathable nylon or insulating neoprene. Neoprene waders insulate much like a dry suit, keeping your child warmer in cold water and cooler weather. Breathable waders are made from a waterproof yet breathable fabric that allows moisture vapor to escape but offers little to no insulation. As a general guide, neoprene waders are best from late autumn through early spring, while breathable waders are preferred from late spring to early autumn. Our boot sizes vary slightly from one style to the next. For the best fit, measure your child's foot and compare it to the size chart. Rubber boots won't stretch or change size with wear. When in doubt, we recommend that you size up. 

Our rain suit sizing is primarily based on age, and the sizing numbers correspond to the average age suggested. For example, a size 2T should generally fit a 2 year-old through their second year. Likewise, a size 7 will generally fit the average 7 year-old through their seventh year. If you’re unsure about a size, it’s usually best to go up in size, allowing extra room for growth.
