"My children attend an outdoor forest school, so we were looking for a good wool-blend base layer. I decided to splurge on these expensive ones instead of ordering a similar and cheaper version on Amazon. Oaki has always been a well loved brand with the children that attend our forest school. After only a handful of uses, I was disappointed to find that these base layer sets began to pill and small holes developed in areas that were unlikely to be from the kids activity. But it seems that the base layers kept them warm. I reached out to Oaki about this and they were very receptive and immediately replaced the items. I was impressed with their customer service and kindness! Perhaps my pairs were defective—we will be testing out the replacements once the weather gets cold again."

"I chose pink for my girls and although it is not stain resistant, they absolutely lovely the comfort factor and didn’t want to take them off. I ordered 1 size up so they’ll fit this winter, also and it seems it was a good choice. Although the Oaki website says they run big, I would say to go with the standard size, or even size up."

Start cozy, stay cozy.

"As a forest school teacher and parent, these have become my indispensable starting point for my nine and eleven year olds’ cool weather dressing. They have opinions about what they wear and really dislike bulk. These are a great way for me to take the power struggle out of morning dressing. We also love the fleece lined rain pants, but sadly, my eleven year old has sized out of the available options. Which reminds me—I would love to have these base layers and the cozy rain pants available in my size too!!"

Kids winter clothing

"I believe there is a shortage of quality winter clothing options for the youngest of our kids (toddlers). Without adequate clothing, it becomes much harder to get them outside walking (and crawling) around at the youngest possible ages. I don't believe color matters -- so having just one color option for the youngest sizes would be great -- particularly socks and long underwear. We are pleased with what we got"
